Moving and Storage Job Specification. Trainee Manager – International Moving. Careline International is an international remover of household goods, personal effects, furniture, pets, cars and motorcycles to and from all locations worldwide. The company is family owned and has been operating in Limerick for more than 120 years. Currently employing 100+ personnel and operating a fleet of 40+ vehicle’s we also have in excess of 100,000 sq/ft of warehouse space. We have operating centres in Limerick, Cork, Dublin and London making us one of Irelands largest removal operators. We are looking to recruit a Graduate to join our management team in the “Deep Sea” international moving department. Working closely with the Department Manager the trainee will be provided with guidance and development opportunities to learn all about the moving industry in all its forms. The industry is reasonably complex and there is a range of technical and structural elements to be learned and understood. The client base is diverse, complex, and moving standards, requirements and service expectations are constantly changing. The scope of operations will encompass the following: Industry Specific practices and operations. Packing Standards Volumes, Weights and Capacities. Air, Sea and Road shipments. Customs Clearance Formalities. Port Systems and Charges. Sales – Estimating / Surveying Pricing, Quoting, Sales Follow Up Sales Closing. Administration - Move Management Operations Job / Work Process Warehousing Freight Booking Overseas Agent bookings. Invoicing Payment Processing Customer service. Business Development Overseas Agent Networking. Other projects as required.
We are offering a starting salary of €25,000 with a performance review after an initial six months probationary period.
