MUNICIPALITY OF ARRAN-ELDERSLIE 2012 STUDENT SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES The Parks, Recreation and Works Departments will be accepting applications for the following summer employment positions for students returning to school in 2012 and be atleast 16 years of age. 1/

PARKS/WORKS MAINTENANCE STUDENT (up to 3 as required) Students may work up to 40 hours per week and be willing to work some weekend/evening hours as required. Position start date: mid-May. Applicants must have their G2. Student will assist with grass cutting, watering plants, painting, event set-up & tear down and functions within the Parks, Recreation and Works Departments as required.

PAISLEY MUSEUM (1 position) This is a part-time summer position to assist with administrative duties and support at the museum. Hours of work may vary and including days and weekends as required.

AQUATIC STAFF (up to 10) Staff must possess current up to date qualifications and willing to work evenings and weekends as required. Location: Chesley & Tara outdoor pools Supervisor/Head Instructor – (2 positions) Proven Administrative, organizational and supervisory experience along with current Instructor/Guard qualifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for staff scheduling, programming and implementing the outdoor swimming pool program. Instructor/Guard (1st year) - (6 positions) Individuals must possess current credentials and qualifications. Good leadership and creative programming skills are necessary. Part-time Lifeguard/LIT: - (2 positions) Individuals must be co-operative, energetic and possess current qualifications.

DAYCAMP LEADER (up to 3 as required based on registration) Location: Tara, Chesley These positions will require enthusiastic, dependable individuals with strong organizational skills, creative programming initiative and the ability to work well independently to provide a fun and safe camp environment for participants.
