E & TC Department
Bharati Vidyapeeth (BV), the parent body of Bharati Vidyapeeth University (BVU) was established by Dr. Patangrao Kadam on 10th May 1964 with the Mission of 'Social Transformation through Dynamic Education'.
E & TC department was carved out from Electronics department in 2007 to meet aspirations of growing demand for E&TC. Presently department offers B.Tech course and planning to start M.Tech and Doctoral Research. Department is equipped with advanced communication laboratories for Satellite, Fiber optics and Mobile Communications.
On the basis of academic excellence and potential for growth, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI); on the recommendation of UGC, has accorded the status of Deemed University to 12 institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth. Subsequently, few more institutions were added under the ambit of BVU. Thus, presently there are 29 constituent units functioning under the BVU. The University is accredited by NAAC in 2004 and 2011 with 'A' Grade. MHRD, GOI accorded A grade university status to BVU. The University has MOU with North Carolina AT & T, State University USA. Presently, Bharati Vidyapeeth offers 278 courses in different subjects at various levels. It is one of the most preferred destinations chosen by the international students
Bharati Vidyapeeth University College of Engineering (BVUCOE), Pune BVUCOE, a constituent unit of BVU, was established in 1983. There are 10 UG, 8 PG and 8 Ph.D. programs offered by BVUCOE, Pune.

The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has accredited seven programmes of BVUCOE.

BVUCOE has been ranked 19th amongst the Top 50 Technical Schools of India in survey conducted by DATAQUEST-IDC.

National Conference-ATSC-2014 India has recently embarked upon deployment of 4G Networks. LTE is soon to follow the pursuit in view of this scenario. It is essential that Scholars, Technicians, Academicians and Industry people get together to exchange ideas with the aim to employ more efficient secure and economical networks. This conference aims at creating platform for such audience. Selected papers will be published in special issue of International Journal of Electrical, Electronics and Data Communication (IJEEDC-online) and journal of BVU after review.
