Dr. Paul Mlakar, D.M. ASCE, Ph.D., P.E. You are invited to join us for a dinner banquet with guest speaker Dr. Mlakar. He is from the US Army Corps of Engineers’ Engineer Research and Design Center in Vicksburg Mississippi and the current Class of 1953 Chair at the United States Military Academy. Dr. Mlakar will discuss Forensic engineering as is applies to three present-day disasters, the Oklahoma City Bombing, the Pentagon 9/11 Crash, and Hurricane Katrina. In each case valuable lessons were learned to increase the safety of constructed facilities. 1.5 PDH Pending

Admission is by prepaid reservation only and is due by Friday, February 21, 2014. Cost is $35 per professional, guest or parent and $15 per student.
