General Information The Missouri Propane Gas Commission (MPGC) plans to adopt the 2009 version of NFPA 54 and 2008 version of NFPA 58. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn the codes, changes to the versions currently used, and how the changes may affect your job and business.

Trainer Theodore (Ted) Lemoff, Staff Liaison for NFPA, will conduct the training. Ted joined NFPA in 1985 and currently serves as NFPA’s principal gases engineer. In addition to being the editor of the National Fuel Gas Code Handbook, Ted is the editor of the LP-Gas Code Handbook and co-author of NFPA Pocket Guide to Fuel Gas Storage and Use. A highly respected gas engineer, Ted is also a registered professional engineer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and represents several national committees and organizations.

Who Should Attend All propane service technicians and service mangers as well as owners and operators who want to attain current knowledge of NFPA 54 and 58, and have questions answered by a codes expert.

Registration Information Pre-registration and pre-payment are required and should be mailed to the MPGC. Class size is limited, so register early. The registration fee is $99 and includes lunch for both days. Also, each attendee will receive copies of the 2009 NFPA 54 and 2008 NFPA 58 codes and appropriate handouts. The fee is non-refundable, however, substitute registrants are allowed.
