Learning Objectives  Participants will be able to: – develop an understanding of the need to teach adolescents how to take charge of their health utilizing the education system. – demonstrate the effective use of self-advocacy as an avenue to successfully navigate the health care system. – identify and teach the practical skills needed to complete medical forms, understand insurance coverage, and navigate through a doctor’s visit.
