WORKSHOP B: Enhancing Efficiencies in Your Data-Intensive 4K Workflows

Workshop Highlights: Interactive storytelling & crossplatform narratives combine strategic, crafted story experiences that can be constructed over television, novels, cinema, theatre, internet and mobile. Workshop Highlights: The advent of smartphones, tablets and 4K television sets, continue to shift viewer behaviours and drive the demand for high resolution digital content. As investments pour into developing 4K content with higher resolution and frame rates, broadcasters and content creators, alike, face new sets of challenges.

This 1/2-day workshop is infused with case studies and will explore how story and gameplay combine, showcasing the tools to recognise the opportunities within a storyworld to expand it over timelines, territories and audiences, with a critical eye on evolving and emerging opportunities through Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and a host of upcoming Multi Channel Networks. Workshop Leader: Alison Norrington, Chief Executive Officer, Founder, Storyteller & Strategist, storycentral Who Should Attend: Storytellers, Writers, Producers, Directors, Social Media Strategists, Brand Managers, Creative Thinkers, Networks, Broadcasters, Radio Broadcasters

With files quadrupling in size, current workflow, and playout facilities need to be upgraded to handle the exponential increase in data.
