NEW GLENDALE TV SHOW FEATURES UPDATE ON PROPOSAL FOR F-35 JOINT STRIKE FIGHTER PROGRAM AT LUKE AIR FORCE BASE Glendale, Ariz. –– Glendale Councilmember Joyce Clark’s new edition of the TV show, Glendale Today, features the proposal for Luke Air Force Base to be the premier selection site for the F-35 pilot training mission. During the 30-minute show, Clark interviews Rusty Mitchell, Luke Air Force Base’s Director of Community Initiatives Team and former Air Force pilot.

Glendale 11, the city’s television station. In addition, viewers can watch online via the city’s video library at www.glendaleaz.com/videolibrary. Clark, who represents the Yucca District in western Glendale, and Mitchell discuss why it is important the F-35 be awarded to Glendale and the economic impact for the state by having the program in Glendale. Viewers will learn how to show their support to the program and how a decision on the F-35 being awarded to Glendale is expected this summer.
