She received her Ph.D. in Ecologyfrom the University of California at Davis in 1985, and has been a member of the COS since 1981. Her current activities are focused on conservation of riparian birds and their habitatsin California and Baia. and sheworks closely with wildlife agenciesin the-development of monitoring and managementprograms for both.
