Winter—the best part about winter is its departure for spring. Most admit it is great to see and feel what a ‘wet’ winter is like. Who can remember our countryside looking as magnificent? Here we are still in June and you are receiving your second monthly statement from Dawmac. That means we have sent out both February and March 2014 invoices during June 2014. That leaves us still 2 months behind in accounts. Another goal for this winter is the upgrading of our current computer business program. This is a major task and we need to finalise our assessment of various programs by the end of June and have our current data and information transferred over by end of August 2014. This is a challenge that we are up to and the benefits a new program can deliver will far outweigh the many headaches that we will encounter over the change over period. Why tell our customers all this trivia? Simple, to change over onto a new business accounting program our accounts will have to be up to date. That means you will be seeing more months in the near future where two months of accounts are printed and mailed out in the one month period. Sadly we have bid our Project Manager farewell. Rob Rennick has left our employment for jobs closer to Albury (his home town) and also closer to his wife Ruth and family. Thank you Rob for all you have achieved over the past 8 months. John P Lane
