The HDL has been circulated as requested NHS Borders is compliant with paragraph 3 (iv) of Annex A and our existing local employment arrangements will continue unchanged We have already confirmed a figure of £35,075 with our sponsor Dansac and your department was informed of this figure previously With regard to paragraph 7 of Annex A, I would confirm that this has been addressed by our local review group and a strategy has been put in place to ensure that the current level of service will be maintained. The group has also developed plans for an improved service based on improved funding becoming available as a result of the national procurement arrangements NHS Borders currently orders all samples centrally and funds them centrally and I am pleased to confirm in accordance with paragraph 8 of Annex A, that this will continue
