NOTE-TAKING FROM LISTENING (SUPPLEMENTARY) The following websites are recommended for further practice on note-taking from listening. Teachers and students can select any topic on the websites ranging from general science to advanced technology, including humanistic and social studies. 1.

English Listening Lab Online: http://www.elllo.org/ This website introduces you to a variety of listening comprehension practice. Most of its contents are flashes on lifestyles and news with guided questions for you to take notes. There are games, links, and search for you to work on.

BrainPOP – Health, Science, Technology, Math, English Animation and Education Site for Kids: http://www.brainpop.com/ This website contains basic information with cartoon flashes on several topics of health, science, technology, math, and English. There are questions right after watching and you are required to register (as a 14-day trial) before you watch a movie.

View Online Academic Success Videos: http://www.dartmouth.edu/~acskills/videos/index.html This website contains lecture videos on academic studies. There is no guided or comprehension question but you can get an atmosphere of an academic lecture from the video.
