Osborn, Jack Coe, among others crisscrossed the nations preaching the gospel in open air meetings, winning many converts to Christ. God was restoring the message that Jesus Saves and “You must be Born-‐Again” to the United States. “Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. Men will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them. For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other. But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. Remember Lot’s wife! Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.” “Where, Lord?” they asked. He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”” (Luke 17:22–37, NIV84)
This passage outlines 3 major judgments of God: 1. The Flood in Noah’s day-‐ Genesis 6 2. The Fire in Lot’s day-‐ Genesis 19 3. The Second Coming of Jesus-‐ Luke 17, Matthew 24
In Judgment, the wicked are punished and the righteous go free. Jesus is pointing to the fact that God is a righteous Judge. Abraham says, “Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?” Genesis 18:25. •

Her husband thought she was saved…but she was Lost Her family (Abraham, Sarah, and her daughters) thought she was saved…but she was Lost Her neighbors thought she was saved…but she was Lost She had eaten with Angels and sang spiritual songs…but she was Lost She made it almost to safety…but she was Lost “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”” (Acts 4:12, NIV84) “What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” “Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”” (2 Corinthians 6:15–17, NIV84)
