Never pre-judge an account

Byron Windsor General Manager Buffalo, NY

We can’t possibly know every customer’s situation just by looking at the work order. Work every account until contact is made and you are guaranteed to find success. Be sure every account gets a phone call in addition to your door attempts. Don’t lose a potential save because you didn’t catch them at home.

Every account is different Always go to the door as if it is your first stop of the day. The way you present yourself and communicate is key. Even the best collector can get off to a rough start, but you must never telegraph these issues to the customer. Always approach with professionalism, respect and a smile. Don’t bring baggage to the door.

Use the Makotek app!!! There are many ways the app can help from route planning to identifying your newest and hottest jobs.

Keep your route as tight as possible The more stops you make the more contact you will have. Don’t waste your time in the field driving from one end of the map to the other.
