Community Builder and Fundraiser UK, Midlands / South East
Part-time
Role description
The Wildlife Air Service is the world’s first civilian air service for environmental enforcement. Although we are a young charity, we are on an ambitious mission to utilise the power of civil aviation to further important conservation causes. Expected legislative changes may soon allow for the mobilisation of private pilots for conservation flying missions and the Wildlife Air Service would be the first organisation in Europe in a position to realise such operations, assisting many existing environmental organisations in the process.
We are currently looking for a community builder and fundraiser to join our team at this early pioneering stage to help grow the charity within the aviation community and to draw in broad support from the airline industry. The role includes strong networking, marketing and communication elements. Please note that is not a paid position yet. We are looking for someone willing to invest time and enthusiasm at this start-up stage to bring the charity into a position where their role can be fully funded. We are essentially looking for someone that is flexible enough to help kick-start the charity into the next level.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Networking within the aviation community and industry
Developing partnership opportunities for the charity
Writing funding applications and researching funding opportunities
Resolution of issues in timely manner where applicable

Fluency in written and spoken English
