Board meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 4:00 PM in the Commissioners’ hearing room. You are always invited to attend and your comments and suggestions are always welcome. Recertification credit is available.

Noxious Weed Classifications NEW INVADERS New Invaders are weeds that are new to Okanogan County. Extreme effort is needed to keep these newcomers from taking hold. The weed office may have funding available to assist with control of these species.

CLASS A For Class A Designate noxious weeds eradication is required by law. The Okanogan County Noxious Weed Board may have funding available to assist with control of these species.

For Class B Designate noxious weeds, elimination of seed production is required by law ( RCW 17.10). Though the Noxious Weed Board does not pay for the treatment of Class B Designate noxious weeds, we can provide the information that you may need to combat this class of noxious weeds.

CLASS B and CLASS C Non-designate Class B and Class C weeds are required to be controlled along county corridors & may be in areas of limited distribution.
