Abstract: Today’s data center is in the midst of a “perfect storm” of forces that impact both IT and the business. New business pressures, such as a drive for collaboration, the desire for users to become empowered, and the demand for continuous availability, are straining data center resources. Businesses also require the data center to maintain and process significant data loads to remain in compliance with a changing regulatory environment. The data center has numerous operational limitations that also constrain its ability to be flexible when responding to business demands. Data centers are also struggling to increase asset utilization and shorten provisioning times to reduce costs. They must respond to security threats and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business continuity and disaster recovery.
Cost: Members: $15 Guests: $20 Students: $10
Journey to the Private Cloud is how the data center can break through these issues, and why moving to a private cloud is a good business decision at every step.
