Partnerships Manager Employer: Youth Food Movement Australia Work Type/s: 12 Month Contract, Part Time Sector/s: Not For Profit (NFP) Location: Sydney The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for managing and executing our partnerships and business development strategy to grow partners, secure clients and build key relationships. As part of our small team, you’ll be responsible for shaping the collaborations that allow us to have an impact in the world. You will love people and forming connections, and you understand that the key to building any relationship is to know the organisation and its people intimately. You’re a whiz at making the most out of available resources, setting up processes to maintain relationships allowing you and the rest of the team to pinpoint, create and execute on partnership opportunities. You have a knack for visual communication and can craft and present compelling proposals and presentations. You get that relationships take time, will be able to find some quick wins for both YFM and our partners, but be prepared to build things over the long haul for greater impact for our community.

Implement an ambitious and diverse revenue strategy including partnerships, fee-for-service, tenders, grants, sponsorship and collaborations. Produce and generate well-coordinated and compelling client project proposals, presentations and meetings, which not only address partner needs, but also clearly articulate the fundamental design challenge and innovation opportunity. Create sales and account management tools and resources to streamline project management including, partnership workshops, information packs and implementation plans. Build long-term relationships with partners/clients/agencies and act as the lead YFM contact to ensure partnerships meet objectives and align with YFM’s Theory of Change and values. Account manage all strategic partners by on-boarding new companies, developing tailored marketing strategies, building and executing activation and leverage plans, solving any partner issues, tracking timelines and budgets and presenting results and insights back to partners. Represent YFM at key client meetings and industry events. A skilled stakeholder manager, be able to build trusted relationships with corporate sponsors to renew, grow and develop the scope of their partnership. Create a robust pipeline of companies and organisations through market analysis and segmentation Work with YFM volunteers and national team to identify needs across all levels of the organisation to feed into partnership ideas and pipeline
Education and Experience ● ● ● ● ●
3 or so years’ experience in strategic partnerships, or business development or a similar role Account management experience with demonstrated results-oriented successes to date Bachelor's Degree Experience calling on 'C'-level senior executives Competitive applicants will have relationships with corporate clients in the Australian market and a demonstrated ability to deliver annual revenue targets of at least $1M+ and prior experience managing 5 and 6 figure multitrack-year partnerships.

You have a the courage to step up, recognise your own fears (and those in others) and move beyond them. ● Has an excellent capacity to learn quickly, think on the fly and self teach as required ● Finds joy in detail, efficiency, logistics and quality. Someone who is comfortable working in a start-up environment, and can execute their job with a sense of humour ● Is curious about how the world works and has passion projects outside of work in various fields such as art, science, architecture, design and spirituality/wisdom
