As a reporter, it’s fun to interact with the audience as you are broadcasting.   •  Holding your phone steady is key. •  If you want to record yourself to explain something, don’t turn around your phone, just double-tap the screen and it will keep recording from the front camera. •  Be mindful of data and battery usage. •  Consider launching the live broadcast and waiting a minute or two to build audience by talking or providing background before you get to the meat of the broadcast. •  Make your live on Periscope tweet matter with the right wording.
