2. Certificate of Medical Radiation Technologist, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Reg. No: 005201, 2006, Taiwan. 3. Certificate of MRI IDEA Sequence Programming (MR8SDE), SIEMENS, Identification Number: CAD2W0A, Instructor: Mark A. Brown, August 2015. 4. Member of International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, USA, 2015-2017.

Personal Statement Chia-Feng Lu attained his Ph.D. at Department of Biomedical Imaging and Radiological Sciences in 2012 from the National Yang-Ming University under the mentorship of Professor Yu-Te Wu. His dissertation explored the organization of brain structural network for the patients with ponto-cerebellar atrophy from the perspective of local structure to global network efficiency using diffusion tensor images. He gave academic lectures of “MATLAB programming for medical signal analysis” and “Principles and applications of magnetic resonance imaging” for graduate students during past two semesters at National Yang-Ming University and released lesson videos and materials on the internet for free to facilitate students’ learning. A major focus recently is to develop an image platform in characterizing thalamocortical dysrhythmia, estimating cerebral hemodynamics, and quantifying venous drainage based on MRI, aiming to understanding the brain circulation for both arterial and venous systems in vivo under the effects of neurovascular diseases. The issue of patentability and the subsequent technique transfer for the developing techniques and platforms is of interest to him.
