Policies Affecting Program Admission Repeating courses Students may repeat a course for which they have received a D, F, I, Y, or W grade. Students usually may not repeat a course for which they have received a grade of C or higher unless the student or course meets the criteria contained in Administrative Procedure 668. Note - Repeating courses may negatively affect clinical candidacy. See your advisor. Course Withdrawal You may drop/withdraw from courses through the last class day prior to finals beginning. Once finals week has begun, you may no longer drop/withdraw from classes in a term. (Administrative Procedure 632).Dropping courses could impact your eligibility for financial aid, Veterans Education benefits, or coverage by your parent's health insurance. Note - Withdrawing from courses may negatively affect clinical candidacy. See your advisor. • • •
Be sure to officially withdraw from a course if you don't plan to attend. Telling your instructor that you are dropping the course does not constitute an official withdrawal. Without an official withdrawal, you will receive a grade of "F" for the course.
