Pool Noodle Ring Toss What materials and setup are needed for your activity? 1 pool noodle cut into two 18 inch pieces, 6-10 large foam rings about 6 to 8 inches in diameter, 1 set of saccadic strips printed on paper, tape, rotating prism glasses (or any way of incorporating yoked prisms, optional)

How do we do your activity? Cut out saccadic strip charts and tape to pool noodles. The therapist holds the noodles about 18 inches apart and 2 to 4 feet from the player, like saccadic sticks. Saccading from one noodle to the other and starting with the bottom row of letters, the patient tosses a ring after calling each letter (or pair of letters) to the noodle they just read from. Any rings that don't make it on to the noodle have to be picked up and tossed again. The goal is to have all the rings on the noodles before reaching the end of the chart! Appropriate amounts of yoked prism can be incorporated to advance the task.
