CONTRACT RATIFIED: Today, through a majority vote, the tentative agreement for a new labor contract with FedEx management was passed. The vote results in the ratification ballot certified by ALPA are as follows: Total Eligible Voters: 3,856 Total Votes Cast: 3,732 (96.78%) Votes Cast FOR: 2,098 (57%) Votes Cast AGAINST: 1,559 (43%) Congratulations and our thanks to all members who took the opportunity to let their voice be heard in this vote and for all members' support and commitment to our collective goals throughout these negotiations. Your Negotiating Committee members, Captain Scott Larsen, Captain Bill Soer, Captain Tom Manning and First Officer Andrew Minney as well as R&I Committee members First Officer Ken Binder and First Officer Corey Franklin deserve your gratitude for their sacrifice, and their dedication to our pilot group. Numerous fellow pilots, who served as members of several key committees, and ALPA staff, have supported our bargaining process and should be applauded as well. MEC AND MEM JOINT COUNCIL MEETINGS: The 4th quarter regularly scheduled MEC meeting will be held the week of November 2-6 at the MEC office. The MEM Joint Council Meeting will be held at the Germantown Centre (1900 S. Germantown Rd.) on Wednesday, November 4 beginning at 10:30 a.m. Individual Local Council meetings for Councils 7, 22 and 26 will follow immediately after the Joint Council Meeting. [back to top]

2016 ANNUAL BENEFITS ENROLLMENT: ENROLLMENT PERIOD: OCTOBER 14, 2015 THROUGH NOVEMBER 4, 2015 Key Information Regarding This Year’s Annual Enrollment Process: 1. The Annual Enrollment event will open at 12:00 a.m. on October 14 and will close at 11:59 p.m. on November 4! Access to the Annual Enrollment event and applicable changes can only be made during this window. 2. Access FedEx Benefits Online from any device with internet access by typing in the URL address— fedex.ehr.com. 3. First-time users of FedEx Benefits Online will need to create a password. Look for the word “here” in the text box—First Time User?. Click on the word “here” to create your password. 4. If you are not a first-time user, but you have not signed on to FedEx Benefits Online within the last 90 days, your password has expired; or if you have forgotten your password you will need to reset it before you can access the site. Look for the word “here” in the text box— Returning Users – Password Expired? Forgot Your Password?. Click on the word “here” to reset your password. 5. Once logged on the following information is viewable: Your personal information, such as your home address, email address and distribution preference for the Pilot Benefit Book (hardcopy or softcopy) The FedEx Benefits Online home page will show your current 2015 benefit elections, with the option to view a detailed summary of your elections 6. There are three main sections to FedEx Benefits Online—EDUCATE, EVALUATE and ENROLL. From the main menu you can select: EDUCATE for information on the benefit plans and programs available to you and your family. Your Health Enrollment Guide, Flexible Spending Account Guide, information on LiveHealth Online a new program offered by Anthem and much more is located in this section. EVALUATE for online decision support tools that help you compare plan benefits and costs based on your personal healthcare needs. You can even estimate the appropriate amount to contribute to the Health Care Flexible Spending Account. ENROLL to make your Medical, Dental, Vision and Flexible Spending Accounts enrollment elections for 2016, review your dependents’ information and validate their

benefits eligibility. You can also review your Life Insurance coverage and designate or update your Life Insurance beneficiaries. 7. When you are ready to make your 2016 benefit elections, simply go to the ENROLL section of FedEx Benefits Online and follow the instructions. You must make your elections by 11:59 p.m. CT on November 4, 2015. Changes made during Annual Enrollment will become effective January 1, 2016. 8. You may print a summary of your 2016 benefit elections once you complete the enrollment process. A Confirmation Statement of your 2016 benefit coverage will be mailed to your PRISM home address by the end of November. A Confirmation Statement will be mailed regardless of whether you accessed the site or made any changes. Once received carefully review your Confirmation Statement for accuracy and make any corrections by the deadline indicated on the statement. COUNCIL 26 ELECTION: On Friday October 16, 2015, a Special Local Council 26 meeting was held at the FDX MEC office. Captains Bob Dahl, Peter Harmon, and Clark Kluwe were nominated for the interim Block 3 representative position. Captain Harmon was elected by the members present and serves as your interim Block 3 representative until the election of the permanent representative. At this meeting, Captains Harmon and Kluwe were nominated for the permanent Block 3 representative position by mail-in ballot and the members present. A separate ballot will be mailed from ALPA to your address on file with the Association. The winner of this permanent election will complete the Block 3 term ending 2/28/2018.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE WELCOMES NEW HIRES: FDX Membership Committee members had the pleasure of giving a "Welcome Aboard" presentation on behalf of FDX ALPA to our newest pilots on October 14, 2015. The class of two pilots began their new hire indoctrination on October 12. The new hires were assigned as FOs in MEM on the 777. Our newest pilots hail from FedEx Corporate. MEM RETIREMENT SEMINARS: The next available Retirement Counseling Seminars will be held on November 18, 2015 and

November 24, 2015 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Central time at the FDX MEC Office, 1770 Kirby Parkway, Suite 300, Memphis, TN 38138. For pilots who are unable to attend in person, we will provide access to the seminar via teleconference. In order to streamline the seminars and to ensure the highest level of counseling, we are limiting each seminar to 25 pilots. Spouses are welcome to attend.
