Course Description This is a 1-day interactive workshop which aims to enhance and further develop the N/MUMs ability to negotiate a 24-hour roster with staff which is aligned with the nursing/midwifery industrial award to ensure safe and efficient nursing/midwifery services are delivered.

Learning objectives: • to understand the core purpose of a roster • to understand the link between rostering, service delivery and work organisation • to have the opportunity to explore and utilise skills and techniques to engage staff in developing strategies to prepare and manage rostering • to share experiences and gain ideas about different rostering practices from peers
