Whether your job is to operate, service or design machines, you need basic knowledge about linear motion technology and pneumatics in your everyday work routine. Rexroth's two new eLearning classes are an effective tool to acquire or brush up on basic knowledge in the areas of linear motion technology and pneumatics. The drive and control systems manufacturer applies the latest continuing education learning methods in both classes. Participants manage their own time, learn at their own pace and have the opportunity to review all chapters as often as they like. Final exams show how much progress participants have made and qualify participants for continuing attendance-mandatory training courses. "eLTG – An Introduction to Linear Motion Technology," a seven-module eLearning class, deals with the physical and theoretical basics of linear motion technology. Participants learn about the make-up and function of different components, such as ball and roller rail systems, linear bushings and shafts, screw assemblies and complete linear motion systems. The last focal point of the class is the different areas of application. It takes participants 12 to 18 hours to complete the 400 pages.
