“This 50th International Paris Air Show was a great success with a record number of exhibitors, confirmed orders for more than 150 billion dollars and the Airbus A350 XWB fly-past with the President of the French Republic attending, just a few days after its maiden flight” stated Emeric d’Arcimoles, Chairman of the Show, who pointed out that “the Careers Plane exhibition, together with the GIFAS Air & Space Forum, enabled 70 000 mainly young visitors to meet the industry’s employees – engineers, technicians and operators – who presented 50 aerospace trades practiced in France. This recruitment and employment initiative showcases the sector’s occupations in the best possible light.” The 51st International Paris Air Show – the world’s biggest – will back at Le Bourget from 15 to 21 June 2015.
