On Monday, January 23, 2017, at approximately 7:04 p.m., San Bruno Police Officers responded to a Subway Sandwich Shop located on the 1300 block of El Camino Real in San Bruno regarding the report of a robbery. An initial investigation revealed that a male subject entered the stored with clothing covering a large portion of his face. He displayed a portion of firearm that was tucked into a piece of his clothing and instructed an employee to provide him with cash from the register. The suspect exited the store and drove away from the area in a dark colored minivan. Photos of the suspect and the minivan are included within this release. The suspect in this case is described as a Hispanic or Middle Eastern male, approximately 5’10” tall, with a thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black baseball cap, a dark piece of cloth covering the lower portion of his face, gray pants, and black shoes. The San Bruno Police Department Investigative Services Section is investigating this case.
