On Friday, June 30, 2017, at 3:16 a.m. San Bruno Police Officers responded to the Tanforan Mall regarding the report of suspicious subjects inside the mall. Upon their arrival, officers contacted two subjects ultimately identified as Allen Jackson, a twentynine year old resident of Oakland, and Joshua Blakes, a twenty year old resident of San Pablo. The subjects had initially provided false identifying information to officers at the scene. A subsequent investigation revealed that the two subjects had burglarized a business inside the mall. Furthermore, Blakes was found to be in possession of burglary tools. Jackson and Blakes were booked into the San Mateo County Jail for charges related to burglary, conspiracy, providing false identification information to an officer, and the possession of burglary tools.
