On Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at approximately 11:19pm San Bruno Police Officers responded to a business on the 200 block of San Bruno Avenue regarding the report of a subject who had been stabbed. The victim was quickly located with a wound to the right side of his head that was not life threatening. The victim informed officers that the suspect had stabbed him with some type of sharp object following a short conversation. The motive for this act is not known. San Bruno investigators subsequently identified the suspect as, thirty-four year old San Bruno resident, Anil Sangar. On Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at approximately 6:57pm, Sangar was located near the intersection at Huntington Avenue and Euclid Avenue and arrested without incident. Sangar was booked in the county jail for an assault with a deadly weapon and for violating the terms of his parole. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
