Damage or Loss The claim for breakage, leakage, damage and loss in transit will be entertained for all Lab pack supplies subject to fulfilling all the requirements of Insurance Company (See Insurance Clause).

Insurance All our Lab pack supplies are insured under open transit policy. The claim can only be paid subject to fulfilling all the regulations of Insurance company and receipt of claim (Please call for guidelines of Insurance Company from S D Fine-Chem Limited, 248, Worli Road, Mumbai - 400 030).

Delivery All supplies are made from our Factories at Boisar/Poicha. While every effort is made to adhere to delivery dates, no responsibility shall be accepted for non-delivery or delayed delivery. Items offered ex-stock are subject to the goods being unsold on the date of receipt of the order. In certain states, where we have sales depot, supply will be made from there as far as possible. But we reserve our right to supply from Boisar/Poicha and C.S.T. will be charged extra. Please note that the rules and regulations of Motor Vehicle Acts and Railways Act will be strictly followed while booking the consignment for transportation. Hence only those goods which are accepted by the concerned authorities will be sent by passenger train, post parcel, angadia or courier at customer’s request at the risk of customers only. No liability will be accepted by us for any mishap in transit, if the booking is done as above, at the request of the customer. If the value of goods dispatched exceeds Rs. 20,000/-, net free delivery will be made. Goods will be dispatched by road transport as far as possible. Wherever road transport facility is not available goods will be dispatched by goods train to the nearest railway station. If the goods are supplied by passenger train, post parcel, angadia, courier at the customer’s request, etc., 50% of the freight will have to be borne by the customer. Where value of goods dispatched is less than Rs. 20,000/- net packing, forwarding and freight will be charged extra. Where it is not possible to know the exact freight in advance, the goods will be sent on “freight to pay” basis. Order less than Rs. 3,000/- net, will not be supplied. Dry-Ice Shipment For dry-ice shipments, minimum packing charges of Rs. 500/- will be charged irrespective of the volume of order. Laboratory Rasayan Grade (LR & Extrapure) These consist of wide range of organic and inorganic reagents in preparative chemistry and other diverse fields. Its range covers all the chemicals required on day-to-day basis of all types of chemical laboratories. We offer Guaranteed quality at affordable prices. Analytical Rasayan Grade (AR) These chemicals are useful in sophisticated analytical instruments and research work, where high purity is essential. Our stringent quality controls guarantees, minimum assay and maximum limit of trace impurities. Universal Reagent (UR) NEW We are introducing “Universal Reagent” as a new grade. Quality is similar to our AR Grade specifications. These chemicals are useful in sophisticated analytical instruments and research work, where high purity is essential. Our stringent quality controls guarantees, minimum assay and maximum limit of trace impurities. HPLC / Gradient / LC-MS / ULC-MS Grade Solvents An extensive range of highly characteristic HPLC solvents are produced and tested as per the latest techniques to assure interference-free HPLC separation and detection. Key parameters such as UV absorbance, transmittance, non-volatile matter, moisture content, fluorescence impurities and assay are very carefully controlled. Packing is done in laminar flow by purging nitrogen and using very fine filter. An inert teflon plug is used to seal each bottle thus ensuring absolutely particle free solvent. In our pursuance for excellence, we are providing actual UV absorption graph of the batch, on the label of each bottle as guarantee. A range of LC-MS / ULC-MS solvents suitable for HPLC and Ultra High Performance LC system coupled with Mass Spectrometer detector. This range of solvents & buffer is characterized by high purity, very low UV abs., well controlled base line drift, min. LC gradient elution peak height, min. metallic impurities and very low NVM levels. Thus this range is a boon for R & D, ADL and even routine LC-MS analysis GC-HS solvents For “Gas Chromatography - Head Space” analysis, a whole range of GC-HS solvents are available which are specially developed for OVI/ Residual solvents analysis as per Pharmacopoeia or ICH guidelines. These solvents are suitable for GC-HS applications using a Head Space GC with auto injector and are characterized by very high purity, very low NVM, extremely controlled residual solvents meeting USP/ ICH requirements and also high UV transmittance. Dry Solvents These solvents find their use in Moisture Sensitive Reactions. Spectroscopy Grade These are solvents of high optical purity for UV/Visible/IR/ Fluorescence/NMR and Mass spectroscopy. The certificate of guarantee includes assay, minimum % of transmission at certain defined wavelengths in UV range, moisture content, nonvolatile matter. Packing techniques are same as HPLC solvents. High Purity 99.9% Ethanol Omnis Grade We have introduced ‘’Ethanol absolute 99.9% OMNIS’’-A very high purity solvent & a versatile reagent which conforms to LR, AR, Dry AR, ACS, ISO, MOS, BP, USP, Ph. Eur specifications. It finds application as Analytical reagent, in Pharmaceutical preparations, Biochemical applications, Organic intermediates, Solvent & in Molecular Biology preparations & DNA synthesis. OMNIS Grade (MN) NEW This is new grade of high purity reagents “OMNIS”. This grade is suitable for manufacturing of excipients and pharmaceutical applications. For high end applications and where trace level analysis is required we recommend omnis grade. Limits of impurities is low in this grade. Specification includes range of impurity profile along with microbial limit test and ovi test.

PRODUCT QUALITY DEFINITION Pesticide Residue Analysis Solvents These solvents are developed especially for the applications in residual pesticides analysis and analysis of other lowvolatile, environmentally relevant substances by using GC/ECD or GC/PND or GC/MSD instrumentation. These solvents are also suitable for analysis of polychlorinated biphenyles (PCBs) class of substances. Research and Speciality Chemicals More New Chemicals are introduced for Research and Synthesis purpose. These chemicals are packed in high quality packing material. Buffers/ Tablets / Capsules/ Solutions Buffers are provided in tablet form, capsule, powder form, as well as in solution form to work in varying pH ranges in chemical and biochemical fields. Pharmacopoeial Grade Chemicals These Chemicals are for the Pharmaceutical industries and conform / comply to the standards of latest Indian (IP), United States (USP-NF), European (Ph. PRODUCT QUALITY DEFINITION ACS-ISO Grade Very high purity solvents meant for Analytical & as per applied areas & according to American Chemical Society Standards and International Standard Reagents for chemical analysis. Molecular Biology & Electrophoresis Grade Wide range of Molecular Biology & Electrophoresis reagents - which are free from DNA, RNA & Protease and find application in the purification, isolation & analysis of nucleic acids & related compounds. Electronic Grade (EL) These chemicals are specially meant for electronic industry looking for high levels of purity and trace impurities. Medium level of metalic impurities below 10 ppm level.

Trace Analysis Reagent - “TAR” “TAR” class of products are characterised by their extremely low levels of metallic/elemental impurities, thus supplementing EL grade. “TAR” stands for Trace Analysis Reagent. These products are mainly acids, or sometimes bases. These are specially crafted for use in AAS & ICP analysis, electronics and semi conductor industries, for PCBs., components cleaning. In “TAR” range of products, emphasis is on controlling metallic/elemental impurities to extremely low levels in sub-ppm range. Typically profile of each “TAR” class product contains 30-40 metallic/ elemental impurities in ppb range. Besides, this, these products are also controlled for smallest particulate contamination.

NIST traceable volumetric solution & pH Buffers New range of NIST Traceable solution in form of volumetric solution and pH Buffer Solution are available. Volumetric solution will be useful for Acidimetric , Alkalimetric , Argentometric , Iodometric , Oxidimetric analysis requirements . Traceability details are mentioned on COAs. pH Buffer solution covers range of pH from 1 to 12. These are NIST Traceable with stringent specification. Culture Media Ingredients. These chemicals are used for preparing culture media for cultivation of micro organisms like bacteria, fungi, etc. These are specifically tested for their ability to support luxurient growth of microorganisms.
