Available for VX Instruments waveform digitizers The timer/counter option (T/C) is available for almost every VX Instruments waveform digitizer. This functionality is implemented fully digitally in hardware to save components, space, time and costs. Many direct measurement possibilities collaterally with the digitizer sampling With the timer/counter option every digitizer has the ability to measure rise times, fall times, frequencies, period and pulse width very fast. This is also possible while the digitizers samples data after a trigger event. The timer/counter engine returns the results quickly after the measurement. There is no need to evaluate the sampled data points.

High time base accuracy and high input voltage range possible For digitizers with a time base accuracy of 1 ppm (may be optionable), the timer/counter time base accuracy will be also 1 ppm. Furthermore the input voltage range and input impedance depends on the input range of the digitizer, which has the timer/counter option implemented. For the PXD731x Waveform Digitizer family, the maximum input voltage can be 500 Vpp. The time base accuracy is 1 ppm.

AXS 7722

High-speed power supply The AXS772x is a single channel, high-speed power supply for high performance measurements. This reliable series, each a 3 U 19” module, is designed for high throughput testing by realizing short rise and fall times. The rise and fall times are programmable.

Various device variants available The programmable output voltage and current is available in various ranges (see specification). The AXS772x-Family supports current source and sink. This fact allows very fast fall times even with high capacity of the Units Under Test (UUT).

Fully isolated outputs to avoid ground loops All devices of the AXS772x series have one output which is fully isolated. The control loop for programmable output-voltage and -current is available as a standard analogue control and as a fully digital control. The digital control does not cause overshoot or ringing of the output and allows fast impedance-changing of loads.

Integrated measurement possibilities The AXS772x has an integrated current and voltage Measurement Unit to read back the actual current flow through the UUT and the actual voltage applied to the UUT.

Auto-sensing protects units under test An auto-sensing feature is integrated as a built-in security to protect Units under Test.

The instrument calibration is done digitally and is fully automatic. The calibration data are stored in on-board EEPROM.

DC floating voltage Output terminals can float up to ±500 VDC from chassis ground.

Industry standard SCPI commands and VXI Plug&Play drivers simplify system integration.
