Exhaust system PLUS

Cylinder replacement 50cc Standard-looking exhaust system for Minarelli horizontal, Peugeot vertical and Piaggio. Made from steel, and painted black. Only the “Motoforce” writing stamped on the heat-dissipating plate shows that this is not an original part. The derestriction gives this scoot noticeably more power. Note: This exhaust is not homologated for road use.

The Motoforce replacement cylinder is a great high-quality alternative to the rather expensive original cylinder. Performance and dimensions are the same as the original, so the

cylinder can be legally used on the road. Comes with piston and gasket set; the original cylinder head can be kept.

The ALU RACING 50cc is a top-grade cylinder with a price/performance ratio that is hard to beat. In fact, you’ll get this midrace cylinder for the same price that will usually buy a humble sport cylinder. The cylinder is made

of aluminium, thus offering excellent thermal properties. The nikasil-coated liner ensures minimal wear and therefore great durability. Supplied with head, piston and gasket set.

The Motoforce SPORT 70 cc cylinders are made of durable grey cast iron and offer good power at low revs. The improved performance

is mainly the result of the increase in capacity; revs remain at a low level, which also aids durability.

The 70cc ALU RACING cylinder offers good midrace performance. Made of aluminium, it has excellent thermal qualities. The Nikasil-coated cylinder liner is wear-resistant,

providing long cylinder life. Excellent performance thanks to the triple exhaust port and optimised port timing. We recommend using a racing crankshaft and a bigger carb.

The ALU RACING 80cc is a top-grade cylinder with a price/ performance ratio that is hard to beat. With the right setup, it will yield 13–17 hp. Made of aluminium, the cylinder

The guide slots of most torque drivers are designed to ensure riding comfort rather than performance. The possibility to choose between two different linear angles allows for improving acceleration according to the available engine power. For everyday riding, the straight versions of the slots are the ones to go for, as they allow transferring the available power to the rear wheel without losses. The Motoforce RACING V.2 is a high-quality 3-shoe clutch for midrace and high-end engines, available at a price that usually only gets you a sport clutch. A lock-in mechanism allows for adjusting spring preload while the weights on

the back let you influence at what RPM the clutch engages. Also available: an additional clutch spring kit.

Polyamide clutch linings from Motoforce RACING. The advantages are quite obvious: excellent strength, great impact strength, good elongation at break, good vibration damping and of course high temperature resistance. With tuned engines, it can happen that the clutch plates slip due to the low tension and the material used. In order to prevent this, tuning clutch plates can be used. The kit includes a set of clutch springs, a set of friction plates and of plain plates.

VARIATOR Torque spring set Racing

This is an ideal addition for all sport and racing clutches. The CNC-machined cooling ribs and the big cut-outs provide sufficient cooling, with positive results for performance and durability.

One of the main things necessary to set up a tuned engine is a stronger torque spring. Torque springs are placed behind the clutch to press the rear pulley to the drive belt. If the spring is too weak, the belt will slip and accelerating becomes impossible. Please note that using a stronger torque spring changes the variator set-up and you may have to insert lighter or heavier variator weights. One of the plus points of this spring is that the strength is printed on the spring itself.

The flat-slide carburettor has a milled-off intake tract and uses a 49mm air filter union diameter and a 35mm inlet diameter.

Ignition coil Racing

Open CDI for 50cc four-stroke models. This ignition unit has a small adjusting screw to change ignition timing. By turning the screw clockwise, you can advance the ignition; by turning it anticlockwise, the ignition is retarded. This way you can fine-tune acceleration and engine running.

This makes sense especially for tuned two-wheelers with increased capacity. As default, the screw is in middle position. There are 12–13 complete turns possible in both directions. You hear a slight clicking noise when the stop has been reached.

This ignition coil nearly doubles the secondary voltage. The standard ignition voltage of the original ignition coil is around 16,000 V and with this coil you can reach a voltage of an amazing 31,000 V. The advantage is that it transforms the primary voltage more effectively. A high ignition

Crankcase breather Racing New crankcase breather kit! During the downward strokes of the piston inside the cylinder barrel, overpressure inside the crankcase can build up. This reduces performance, because the piston can no longer transfer its full force onto the crankshaft but also has to counteract the pressure in the crankcase. If the overpressure is released, the engine will rev more freely and can put more power onto the road. Furthermore, the dangerous effect of oil foaming can be prevented to the greatest possible extent so that the danger of the oil film tearing off can be drastically reduced. The same negative effect also occurs during the piston’s up-stroke, except that it’s a negative pressure that builds up.
