Product Data Castrol Almaredge NF Soluble Oil
Description Castrol Almaredge™ NF is a specialty soluble oil based on solvent refined mineral oils, special fatty additives and emulsifiers which form a white milky emulsion. It is protected by a non-phenolic biocide system and contains no boron, phenol, chlorine or nitrites.
Application Almaredge NF has been specially formulated for machining brass, copper, aluminium and aluminium alloys, particularly in applications where high surface finishes, greater dimensional accuracy and longer tool life is required. It can also be used on easily-machined ferrous metals and is therefore ideal for machining operations where aluminium and copper alloys are the main metals machined, but others are also processed on the same equipment.
Advantages • Excellent emulsion stability and bacterial resistance. Long coolant life. Economy of operation. • Contains no nitrites or phenols. Operator and environment friendly. Good working environment, lower disposal costs. • Low foaming properties. Minimises foaming in high-speed systems. Trouble free operation. • High degree of lubricity. High surface finishes obtained. High quality output. • Good corrosion protection. Machine and part protection. High quality output.
