PRODUCT SPECIFICATION Many of you will be familiar with ARB’s existing Ford Ranger and Mazda BT50 canopy and the unique bracket system we have designed to satisfy the vehicle tub longevity. We have a few product design updates to occur once the existing stock level of components is exhausted.
CANOPY DESIGN FEATURES: The nature of the following design updates require ARB to generate brand new top level selling part numbers as components are neither forward or backward compatible. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.
Dual Cab canopy new part number CL/S 54 A/B/C/D will supersede CL/S 49 A/B/C/D canopy when all stock has been depleted. Extra Cab canopy new part number CL/S 55 A/B/C/D will supersede CL/S 50 A/B/C/D canopy when all stock has been depleted. The robotically trimmed canopy shell is being trimmed differently to accept a new wider rear door design. The new rear door has increased in width by 33mm to better match the tailgate width and reduce the visual air gap seen on existing canopies. The T section for the front of tub has been deleted and replaced by a complete front mount rail, which extends from driver to passenger side and is bolted to the vehicle hard points. This same part has a special fold to hold the front of the ute liner. There are no full length side rails as the corner brackets replace these, however a centre support bracket is provided. The mount rail design better accommodates the existing ARB internal frame brackets Installation is simpler as there are less brackets than the current model
Spare parts lists have already been updated in the latest Canopy Catalogue.
IMPLEMENTATION: These new canopies will supersede the existing canopies when stocks are depleted. All orders received will automatically be entered as the existing CL(S) 49 or CL(S) 50 part number and when stocks are depleted this will revert to the new CL(S) 54 or CL(S) 55 part numbers.
