Requirements: scientific university education in hydrosciences; solid knowledge in geohydraulics and with respect to solute transport in vadose zone water and groundwater as well as with respect to sorption and degradation processes; detailed experience in the implementation of all these processes into mathematical models (model design), and in the application of numerical simulation tools, e.g. for sensitivity analyses; knowledge with regard to usage of databases; very good skills in English (oral and written). Working experience in some project within an international research cooperation is advantageous. Applications from women are particularly welcome. The same applies to people with disabilities.
