INTRODUCTION Olympus KeyMed pioneered the world’s first endoscopy training course nearly thirty years ago and the company’s commitment to customer training is stronger than ever. We currently support approaching two hundred medical and surgical training courses held in hospitals around the UK and Ireland and at our facilities in Southend-on-Sea and Dublin. We promote a partnership commitment to education and support in the use, care, maintenance and repair of all equipment. Our training support extends far beyond equipment commissioning, covering all aspects associated with a product’s lifecycle.

OLYMPUS SUPPORT AVAILABLE

For customised training, on-site or in-house, Olympus has a unique team of Event Co-ordinators to work alongside the hospital and provide a tailored selection from the following services in planning each individual course.

Application form and mailing

Faculty

From mailing to our extensive customer database, to promotion of the course through our website and the supply of marketing material - we can offer help from start to finish.

Organisation of faculty attendance, travel and accommodation.

Administration ■ Regular contact from Events Department, updating the course director on each stage of course planning ■ Booking venues, hotels and catering/course dinner ■ Booking transport for delegates/personnel ■ Delegate booking and processing of payments ■ Producing and sending correspondence to delegates, faculty etc

Catering and refreshments Support for course dinners, coffee breaks and lunches.

Facilities We can offer an in-house team to attend the course and provide audio visual support.

Accreditation Assistance with the arrangement of course accreditation and providing an appropriate accreditation register.

Equipment Make available and transport our vast range of Olympus equipment for the duration of the course.

Olympus manning Olympus staff can attend courses to support and conduct training sessions, along with carrying out registration and time-keeping duties.

Artwork

In-house Lecture Theatre

Using our in-house Studio Department we can design and print artwork i.e. application forms, programmes, certificates, post course evaluation forms.

Fully equipped with the latest audio-visual facilities, including an audio link for the hard of hearing, Olympus KeyMed’s Lecture Theatre is in constant use for both customers and staff training, as well as being the venue for international, medical and industrial seminars.

Nomadic stands Supply of professional backdrops, demonstration platforms and display areas.

Follow-Up Produce and collate post course evaluation forms for a detailed analysis of the course. Follow-up letters including relevant training materials and certificates.

Course material Preparation and mailing of handouts, clipboards, badges, giveaways and CD-Roms.
