Profile: Ken Johnson Ken Johnson is a graduate student originally from the suburbs of Chicago, IL, where he developed a love for insects and plants at an early age. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Illinois College, he worked with Epcot Science as an entomology intern focusing on IPM. After a brief stint in East Tennessee, he returned to Florida to pursue a Doctor of Plant Medicine degree with a certificate in plant pest risk assessment and management. In his free time, Ken enjoys wondering through the woods looking for interesting insects, taking care of his large potted garden, taking pictures of nature, causing mischief, and watching as much football as he can find.
