SPEAKERS Edvard Kraševec is the experienced
researcher and analyst at the Ergo Institute, where he prepares the first fleet management research in the Southeast Europe. Before joining Ergo Institute, he was a CEO for IT and development at Viator&Vektor group, second largest logistics company in Slovenia. He also worked at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia.
Petar Maksimović is the managing director of INFO TEAM, medium sized company based in Belgrade. He took part in data collection, editing and overall publishing process of SCG Roadmap, the first vector based map of Serbia and Montenegro for GPS devices, and SCG Route, the first fully routable map of Serbia and Montenegro with extended coverage to topographic and river maps details. Boris Belamarić is the founder of the first Croatian telephone factory Free port Unešić. He is also member of expert team that designed Nebesko oko (Sky eye) – system for surveillance, monitoring and communication. He was a member of Republic Croatia Economic – Social Council of the Croatian Employers’ Association, presidency member of Electro Industry Association of the Croatian Employers’ Association and IT department in Croatian Chamber of Economy. Andrius Rupsys is currently the managing
director of Lithuanian company UAB Ruptela which helps companies to manage resources and offers ready-to-go solutions that include the necessary hardware, user-friendly web-based software, connections and detailed maps. Prior to Ruptela, he was the chief of International Sales at Teltonika.
Tjay Tjiook has worked in the automotive
and heavy truck industry for over 15 years in various different functions, including software development, IT management and business development. In 2003 he founded Squarell Technology. As the pioneering company in FMS CANbus and vehicle data, Squarell developed the FMS concept to an accepted and leading standard.
Paula Green has over 10 years of experience
in high-tech industry. Prior to joining Cellocator Division, Pointer Telocation she held diversified positions for global companies as IBM GLOBAL SERVICES and RAD DATA COMMUNICATION. At Cellocator, she is responsible for Eastern Europe, Baltic countries, CIS & Russia and Asia Pacific regions.
Klemen Jamšek is the project manager at CVS Mobile, where he is responsible for developing new functionalities and implementing telematics solutions to their costumers. He also worked in an international transport company for 5 years and with his experience he is now able to understand customers’ needs and therefore brings user experience to development of new products and tailor made solutions.
Jaap Groot has over 20 years of diversified
experience in telematics in international environments and brings his extensive experience of product and sales management to MiX Telematics. Prior to MiX Telematics, Groot held management positions with Roadshow (now Descartes), and Qualcomm, and was also responsible for building two Telematics companies, namely Triptech and FindWhere.
