Asylum procedures: The PWG undertook an analyses regarding the recommendations of the Joint action Plan to implement the EU-Turkey Statement and its eventual impact on the asylum procedure. The Director of the Asylum Office was invited in the PWG and brief partners on the current asylum procedures, and the challenges. Cash assistance and protection: the PWG prepared SOPs on protection and cash, to ensure protection actors monitor and support the implementation of cash assistance and discontinuation of catering. There are concerns on data privacy currently being discussed with agencies providing cash. In addition, there are challenges for specific groups as UAC that are not eligible for cash, this decision may increase their vulnerability. The SOPs also provide guidance for PwSN that require support to access to cash.

Participatory Assessments: UNHCR and 35 partners conducted participatory assessments across Greece, consulting 1,921 persons of concern, including asylum seekers, refugees and also host community, in 241 focus group discussions across 40 sites/RIC and in urban accommodation. There are 10 regional reports and a national summary of the participatory assessment, with a series of recommendations that will be followed up in local action plans. Referral pathways and case management: Regional PWG completed referral pathways for Child Protection, SGBV and PwSN for all the sites in the Greece operation. The PWG established a taskforce that has finalised SOPs for safe identification and referral of PwSN.
