QuickTest Professional and the CBT Learning Experience Computer Based QuickTest Professional is divided into two courses: Using QuickTest Professional (3 days) This course is intended for those who will advance to become proficient scripters and those who will support those activities by designing test cases and/or providing data for tests. Course content includes: Overview of Components of Automated Testing, Recording a basic script, Object Recognition, Synchronization, Basic Verification, Complex Verification, Database Verification, Data Driving, Multiple Actions, Web Testing, Selected Object Recognition Issues, Recovery Scenarios Advanced Training for QuickTest Professional (2 days) This advanced course is intended for those who will be developing QTP scripts as part of their daily activities. Course content includes: Review of QTP, Using the Expert View. Introduction to VBScript Programming, Dynamic Objects, Creating Functions and Subroutines in VBScript, External Data: Excel Data Tables, External Data: Databases, External, Data: Text Files, Managing Selected QTP Issues, External Data: The Excel.Application Object (Optional), The Extern Object – Accessing External Routines (Optional) How much does CBT cost? Using QuickTest Professional (3 days): $700 CAD plus taxes. This includes access to the online training session, and a student workbook that consists of all the slides plus the exercises. Advanced Training for QuickTest Professional (2 days): $500 CAD plus taxes.
