Total number of units required = 8 (3 x core quality auditing units plus 5 x elective units) * BSBAUD402B is a required unit for Lead Auditors ** At least 2 electives must be from the remaining quality auditing units or from the elective units listed in the Qualification Rules or from an equivalent level qualification within the BSB07 Business Services Training Package. *** It is a requirement of the FDF03 Food Processing Industry Training Package that FDFFSCFSAA must be pre- or co-assessed with FDFFSCOMA and FDFFSCZA; and FDFFSCZA must be pre- or co-assessed with FDFFSCOMA and FDFFSACA **** Only one of these OHS units can be counted as an elective; however, these OHS units cannot be counted as an elective if BSBRSK401A is counted as an elective. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): 3 elective units may be selected from the elective units listed or from the BSB07 Business Services Training Package or from any other endorsed training package. If not listed below, 1 elective unit may be selected from either a Certificate IV or Advanced Diploma qualification. Elective units must be relevant to work outcomes / industry requirements and the qualification level.

This qualification targets individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and/or the work of the team. SAI Global has, therefore, structured this qualification to suit the needs of clients: •
Who have managerial responsibilities, or are taking on additional managerial responsibilities and need to learn more about the audit function.

Who are working within the area of compliance and are responsible for implementing and monitoring the performance of their organisation’s Quality / OHS / Environment / Food Management systems and need further specialised knowledge in conducting and leading audits

Who participate in the maintenance of OHS, Quality, Food Safety and/or Environmental management systems
This qualification is also for those who have had extensive experience in working in, or who are currently working within Compliance Consultancy roles, who wish to formalize their work experience through a Nationally Accredited Qualification.
Pathways
Prerequisite requirements: There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency. Preferred pathways into this qualification Candidates may enter the qualification through a number of entry points by demonstrating the potential to undertake training at Diploma level. This may be demonstrated through: •
Completion of (or completion of the majority of units in) a Certificate IV in Business or other relevant qualification; and/or
•
Extensive vocational experience in auditing, including holding such roles as Quality Assurance Officer, Project Officer, Administrator, HR Manager with QM responsibilities
SAI Global encourages candidates to complete our Internal Auditor and Introduction to Risk Management courses prior to enrolment if they cannot demonstrate the qualifications / vocational experience above.
