Reporting Period: 07-2015

The report presents an overview of the situation in the camp, including basic demographic data, infrastructures and access to services as of July 2015. Information has been compiled based on various data sources, monitoring exercise and formal/informal interview with camp residents. Camp Level Update Field camp coordination meeting held in June: Camp Agencies Present: DRC DRC-CCCM, ACF (Nutrition), Plan (Food), CDN (Food), SCI (Wash), DRC Management (Protection), Mercy Malaysia (Health), IRC (WPE), SCI (Child Protection) Support  Food: Plan informed that the post distribution monitoring will not be conducted for 



this month due to the distribution schedule which will be on-going for the whole month; Food: CDN informed that the warehouse located in the field is damaged, therefore it’s not safe to store the food ration in the camp; Health: Mercy Malaysia informed that they don’t provide transportation charges for emergency cases referred to TKP hospital.

General updates from different actors;

Next Camp Coordination meeting at field level is scheduled on the 23rd of July at 10:30. Next meeting with CMC members is scheduled on the 29th of July (time to be confirmed). Committees meeting: o Women group on the 3rd of July ; o Elderly group on the 8th of July; o Youth group female on the 21st of July; o Youth group male on the 8th of July;

Monitoring and referral:  Wash Infrastructure monitoring on the 4th week of July.  Hygiene Kit distribution monitoring (depending on distribution schedule).  Food distribution (depending on distribution schedule).  CRM on-going.

CDN has distributed oil and rice to 5,996 HH in OTG. They could not complete the distribution due to the run out of the food in the store. Plan distributed rice, oil, salt and pulse to 712 HH in OTG (3).

Protection Team will continue working with PSNs in the camps and following up on them and identification of PSNs for IPAs and distribution. Identification of protection concerns.

Regular protection activities on-going. On-going FGD with elderly and psychosocial support training for the elderly Monthly meeting with the women group facilitators and regular FGD with the women

IPA distribution in the 3rd week of July. Life skill training (Part 3) for Youth Facilitators during the 3rd and 4th weeks of July.

A meeting with Child Protection Group and Youth Facilitators is scheduled on the last week of July at the Youth Centre;

An incident occurred in the camp involving a woman who fell down in the drainage system during the night.

The incidents was reported by protection team and referred to SCI wash and Mercy Malaysia.
