As an AT&T employee in the AT&T Technology, Planning and Engineering team, I do not work daily with the North Charleston Store team; however, it was a pleasure to work with them for the second year as a partner with RB Stall. I wanted to take some time and recognize them for their support the Fall 2016 RB

Stall High School DECA event. A big thank you goes out to Kawanna Bates, Buck Swatzyna, Chelsey Mason, Nilda Meadows, Tyler Parke, Brashad Gillins, Christine Ware and Jack Overfield. Job well done everyone, I could not be more proud of how well this event went. I didn’t think it was possible, but this the team delivered an even better presentation than last year. You didn’t have to look very hard to see these students were focused and enjoying their time learning. They seemed to be very engaged in absorbing the information being delivered. “In the presentation, the North Charleston team discussed the retail side of AT&T, the different roles and responsibilities of each position and how they contribute to the overall success of the company. We also talked a little bit about our previous experiences and what brought us to AT&T, the path we took to get here, and future aspirations. After the presentation, we directed the students to shadow different RSCs, and have a Q&A session about any and everything AT&T. After shadowing we pulled everyone back into the conference room and covered what they learned. At the end we gave them a Pop Quiz about different products we offer, what they are, and what they do. Top scores received Prizes (Lg Tones, T-shirt, AT&T swag, etc.). We all had a lot of fun, great to see such a level of excitement and energy.” - Buck Swatzyna, Retail Store Manager II. Now for a truly inspiring story about this program, Chelsey Mason who is an AT&T Sales Representative has participated in the last two DECA events. I wanted to spotlight Chelsey today, because RB Stall is not only her High School Alma Mater, but she is also participated in the DECA program while she attended RB Stall. I think this captures the very meaning of the Program and how special it is. It is an awesome feeling knowing you work for a company that provides their employees a path to give back to our communities, but also has the employees that are passionate about giving back. My deepest gratitude to our AT&T ASPIRE Team here in Charleston, SC.
