II. Lessons Learned •
The problem seems more of chronic malnutrition than acute malnutrition. However, it needs to monitor the nutritional status of the under five children and PLWS
• There is a need of micronutrient programs addressing targeting women in reproductive age and adolescents • Dietary diversification • Support the implementation of the code of marketing of breast milk substitutes. • KAP assessment on IYCF practices for appropriate design of nutrition programs
• Poor correlation between MUAC and weight for height z-score • Capacity building of the health system in terms of SAM management
