There are often times in our lives where we can become so busy, whether it be at work, looking after children, studying etc that we forget to slow down and see what is going on around us. As the minutes tick and days pass, we can ignore that there are others in our immediate vicinity that may need us. It could be spending five minutes speaking to your spouse about their day. Laughing with your children, talking to your mother or maybe even calling someone you have not spoken to for a while and letting them know you were thinking of them. For just a second we could take the focus off ourselves and change someone else's day. Our light can shine in any small way if we take the time.
