FINAL TABLE/2013 WORLD SERIES POKER STAGE - NIGHT

Ten PLAYERS gather their tray of chips and march toward the Final Table, fame and glory within reach. NORM CHAD We have our Final Table. Ten players. Vying to be the last man standing. We follow ONE PLAYER from the back, long black hair, female. Unlike the others, once she sets her tray down, she does not go over to the audience area, where FAMILY and SUPPORTERS await, but remains in arena. ON SCREEN the legend reads: 2013 World Series of Poker Main Event. Alone, our woman takes a seat at the table, under the BRIGHT LIGHTS. She sets a shark tooth card holder, her lucky charm, in front of her, and folds her hands over it. Her chip stack is substantial. Half her face is hidden behind her hair. With her air of mystique, her edginess and sexuality are undeniable. This is GABRIELLA JANEWAY, 40, African-American, glamorous, a chip on her shoulder. She looks across the table where the championship trophy, trays holding over $8 million dollars and the prized bracelet await. It is an unblinking look, a death stare of unflinching desire. A few players have returned to the final table area, but do not take a seat yet. They wait, as is custom, shaking hands. But Gabriella keeps her distance and no one approaches her. Poker pro PHIL IVEY accesses Gabriella and gives an AMATEUR a piece of advice, head-nodding towards her. Watch her.
