Winter 2018 Session
Recital Ticket Orders Our Fall Recital will be held at Novi High School on Saturday, May 12th (Dress Rehearsal is Friday, May 11th) Auditorium doors will open at 1:00pm, and the show will begin at 1:30pm. Information about your dancer’s schedule will be handed out with her/his costume .
As the number of dancers participating in the recital has grown, so has the size of our audience. While we are thrilled to see such an interest in this fantastic event, we also want to ensure each family has an equal chance at getting their desired tickets. After reviewing the ticket procedures below, please fill out and detach the order form and return to the front desk between 3/3-3/21.
**We will BEGIN accepting Ticket Orders on Saturday, 3/3 (we will be open from 7:30am-11:00am). After Saturday, you may turn your order in to the front desk anytime during regular hours. Ticket orders will close on Wednesday, 3/21.
Here’s what we need from YOU: 1. 3/3 - 3/21: Turn in Ticket Order Form. Forms will not be accepted before 3/3. Turn the attached form in to the front desk with payment between Saturday, 3/3 and no later than 3/21. ALL performing students must turn in this form to indicate seating preferences, even if you are not ordering additional tickets beyond the two that were included your Recital Fee (see FAQ’s). Please note: your seats will be selected for you based on the order in which your form was received. Forms must be turned in to the front desk in person (no phone orders).
2. 3/26 - 4/24*: Look for our email, Facebook and Twitter post to see if there are extra tickets up for grabs. After every family has had the chance to purchase tickets at the restricted amount, we will open up the sale of remaining tickets on a first-come, first-served basis until sold out. If there are extra tickets available, simply call or visit the front desk to purchase them as an add-on to your original order (will be seated together). There is NO LIMIT to the number of these ‘extra tickets’ you may purchase. (*until 4/24 or sold out)
3. 5/5 - 5/10: Visit the front desk starting May 5th to pick up your ticket envelope. We will have combed through every order and personally selected your seats. Your tickets will be placed in an envelope with your child’s name at the front desk for you to pick up at your convenience. We will have a diagram of the auditorium seating chart available for you to locate your seats.
FAQ’s: **If you want to sit by another family: Both yours and the other family’s forms must be turned in together (at the same time), have the same seating preferences, and have each other’s names listed in the “special requests” section of your order forms.
How many tickets can I buy? Your Recital Fee included TWO tickets per family. Based on the number of families participating we have calculated that each family may now purchase up to FOUR additional tickets (to hold a total of SIX tickets). Once all orders have been received and counted, we will notify all families if there are extra tickets that can be added to your order (see #3 above).
More on the back!
(FAQ’s continued) What if I only want two tickets? Fill out the form and write “0” for “# of additional tickets to purchase”. You’ll still need to fill out your seating preferences to guide us in choosing your two seats (see #1 for instructions). Two tickets were included in your Recital Fee so you do not owe any additional money with your form.
How will you choose my seats? All seats are assigned and will be selected by Mid American based on...1) The order in which your Ticket Order Form was received AND 2) Your seating preferences as indicated on your form. We will select the seats after all orders (including any add-on orders, if extra tickets are available) have been received. This way all of the tickets in your order will be together. TO ENSURE YOUR TICKETS ARE TOGETHER: Make all ticket purchases under the PERFORMER’S NAME (if you have multiple children in the recital, choose one child’s name and stick with it).
When will I get my tickets? Tickets will be placed in an envelope under your PERFORMER’S name at the front desk starting 5/5.
PLEASE NOTE:
There are NO returns/exchanges of tickets. All tickets are FINAL SALE.
Make all ticket purchases under the PERFORMER’S NAME. If you have more than one child in the recital, choose one child’s name to use on all ticket related purchases. This is the only way to ensure your group of tickets will be seated together.
ALL performing students must return the Ticket Order Form, even if you only want the two tickets included in your Recital Fee. These forms allow us to choose seats according to your preference, and without them we will simply choose for you randomly.
