NBPS RECYCLING PROGRAM This is a reminder for all NBPS employees that recycling is mandated by law in all schools. Recycling is easier than ever with single stream recycling allowing schools to mix bottles, cans, paper and cardboard in one recycling bin. Just drop bottles, cans & paper in the blue recycle bin in your classroom. Place large cardboard boxes neatly near the doorway. Be sure to keep recyclables separate from trash. Please inform and instruct all students so they can recycle correctly in school. Plastic bottles with the #1 or #2 recycling symbol on them must be recycled. Any paper you can easily tear should be recycled including school paper, envelopes, chip board (from tissue boxes & note pads), colored paper, soft cover books and more. Corrugated Cardboard boxes get stacked neatly near the doorway. Your custodial staff will take care of collection. If you have any questions about recycling, please ask your custodian, or call the Buildings and Grounds Department at 732-745-5300 x5390, or call the City of New Brunswick – Division of Recycling at 732-745-5059. Thank you for helping to make our school recycling program a success!
