Reference Material Allowed in NICET Paper and Pencil Test Centers

The format of references an examinee may bring into a paper-and-pencil exam is limited to the titles on this list; all references must be bound. NICET highly recommends that all references are professionally bound. If references are not professionally bound, they must be included in a binder no larger than three (3) inches and with clear delineation of the publication(s) included in the binder. A binder may contain more than one delineated section. Personal notes are acceptable as long as they are typed or photocopied; notes must be in a binder. Handwritten notes that are not photocopied will not be allowed into the testing facility.
