**ALL FAMILIES OF PARTICIPANTS MUST WRITE A CHECK FOR $300 AS A VOLUNTEER FEE. AFTER WORKING 2 VOLUNTEER SHIFTS, CHECKS WILL BE DESTROYED. IF A FAMILY FAILS TO WORK 2 SHIFTS, THEIR VOLUNTEER CHECK WILL BECOME PAYMENT IN EXCHANGE FOR VOLUNTEER SHIFTS.

Below are the MCYB parent volunteer expectations. 1. Each family will give a post‐dated and signed $300 check to the volunteer coordinator. (The check will not be cashed) That check will be held until each family works a total of two volunteer shifts. Once obligations are complete the check will be shredded. *Is anyone exempt from volunteer duties? *Board members and volunteer coaches are exempt from volunteer duties.
2. A shift consists of; working a shift in the concession stand during the spring and/or summer, working a shift at the Pancake breakfast, or working a gate at any home tournament. ‐Where can I find the schedules? *Registration *On this website *Schedule binder stored in the concession stand
3. Along with the above stipulations, If Minot is a host of a tournament, and your child is scheduled to play in the tournament, you must work at least one extra shift during the tournament. If you choose not to sign up and work this additional shift your child could be ruled ineligible for the tournament. This is not a coach’s decision but a decision of the MCYB board. If you would like to work more than one shift during the tournament it will count as shift towards the three you must work.
4. We understand family members have to work, there are summer vacations, or other emergencies or situations that arise during the summer. Please don’t wait until the last minute to discuss this with the concession volunteer coordinator. We will be glad to help in any way we can with scheduling conflicts.
5. This is a Volunteer organization: If you see the concession stand being very busy or low on items, jump in and assist those working for a bit so they can catch up. We appreciate your help!
BLITZ CARD FUNDRAISER 1. Our Blitz Card fundraiser is one of our major fundraisers, and is MANDATORY for all participants. 2. The cards (2 credit card size) are $20 each. Each player will receive 10 cards to start with. Cards will be handed out once players are assigned to a team. 3. Collection will be the first week in June. We will have a ‘Blitz Night’ when all players are expected to go out and sell. Please don’t wait until this night to sell your cards. 4. Additional cards are available at anytime. To get more cards contact Andy Lach.
